Plenty of new faces in both the division 1 and 2 matches today. Both matches were hard fought with the weather switching between heavy rain and clear skies throughout the day. Unfortunately things didn’t get off to a great start for the Sharks and the Devils we’re 2/2 when the VFL match started.

In division 2 Peta Simkin, Claire Smuthwaite, Eliza King, Ashley Wilson and veteran Jenny Male were amongst our best.

In division 1 Georgia Fisher, Taylah Watson, Taylor Meseti, Ellie George-Brimson and Alex Trollop were stand outs.

In the VFL Brianna Davey and Jasmine Garner both booted two goals and Alison Brown and Georgia Harris rounded out our goal kickers. Jenna Bruton, Brit Bonnici, Kate Hore, Brianna Davey and Tilly-Lucas Rodd were strong contributors all day.

After the match we caught up with Alison Brown who kicked the game winner and Ruby Schleicher who was very impressive in her Sharks debut.
