That’s a wrap on the AFL Women’s league for all of our Sharks girls.
It was a nervous wait for Mia-Rae Clifford’s Demons after a convincing win against the Dockers on Saturday night, but the Crows were desperate and got the important win against Brittany Bonnici, Jasmine Garner and Moana Hope’s pies.
We had our second draw of the year at Ikon Park. Carlton rallied in the last quarter, but when the final siren sounded scores were tied.
The Western Bulldogs side that featured Jess Gardner, Laura Bailey and Rebecca Neaves was too strong for Phoebe McWilliams Giants in Canberra and the doggies ended their season how they started it, with a win.
There’s still a huge grand final still to come next weekend, but for the Sharks our full attention switches to the upcoming season and the big Calendar/Season launch on April 8th.
