Stephanie Brown, nicknamed ‘Richo’ after her favourite player Matthew Richardson and her beloved AFL club Richmond began her career as a 17 year old at the St Kilda Sharks. Like the AFL star Richo is a reliant goal scorer with a strong mark.
In 2006 she was awarded the Debbie Lee medal for best first year player and in 2013 she was awarded the Rohenna Young medal for leading goal kicker in the Senior division, kicking 25 goals.
Stephanie is a well known forward in the VWFL and has represented Victoria at state level. She began her career at the Sharks, but spent the last few years playing in Berwick. The Sharks are very excited to have Stephanie back at the farm celebrating her 100 game milestone in the red, white and black.
Go Sharks and a big congratulations to Stephanie ‘Richo’ Brown on this very impressive milestone.
