Brianna Davey led the Blues side in disposals with 14, Tilly Lucas-Rodd continued to impress with 11 and Alison Brown played her sixth consecutive game after being signed as a free agent.
Brisbane defeated Western Bulldogs
All three Sharks girls were back for the doggies, but the Lions were too strong and secured the first spot in the inaugural AFLW grand final.
Melbourne defeated Adelaide.
In the match of the round the Crows needed a win to secure their spot in the AFLW grand final, but Mia-Rae Clifford’s Dees bounced back after a slow start and scored the crucial win.
Melbourne who are one of the pioneers of the AFLW league are now a genuine chance to make the grand final and will be looking for a good win next weekend at home against the Dockers.
Collingwood defeated GWS
It was Phoebe’s second game in Melbourne and there were plenty of Sharks fans in attendance. Brittany Bonnici had her best game of the season and led all disposal getters with 18. Jasmine Garner continued to impress with 14 disposals and a goal, Mo Hope had her best game of the season and booted two goals and Penny Cula-Reid returned for the Pies who were convincing winners.
