For the St Kilda Sharks, the 2014 season was the most successful season for some years with strides made both on and off the field and we’re keen to continue the improvement and development in 2015.
If you or someone you know is keen to play footy at a progressive, inclusive and fun club that’s going places both on and off the field, we’re keen to hear from you. It doesn’t matter If you’ve never played the game before or if you’re a 200 game veteran, and everyone in between. We’re keen to hear from you.
In 2015 we’re fielding three senior teams competing in the VWFL and our Youth Girls team will be part of the St Kilda City Junior club playing in the SMJFL.
Our Premier Division team played in the finals for the first year since 2007 and showed huge improvement under coach Lloyd Balshaw. We’re working hard to ensure the improvement and development continue.
Our Division 1 team took all before them, winning the flag under coach Marnie Rosenberg and will be working hard under new coach Andrew Calleja and assistant coach Annette Arzoumanian in 2015.
And in a first for our club, we’ve added a third senior team in 2015 that will be competing in the VWFL in Division 3. Club legend Caspa Brooks will be at the helm of this team.
Pre season is currently in full swing and it’s less than 6 weeks until the first bounce in the 2015 season.
So if you’re keen to pull on the boots or just interested in having a look, please give our Club President Keryn Ralph a call on 0402 287 855
Everyone welcome!
