Today we ran out with black armbands on our left arms to honour the life of Ryan Doidge.

Ryan “Frysie” Doidge originally came to the Sharks in support of his girlfriend, Sharks player Allison (“Clayts”) who later became his wife.

Like many great club people Ryan couldn’t resist lending a helping hand to the team, he ran water, waved the goal flags and helped out as team runner.

In 2005 Ryan took the reigns as reserves coach and in 2006 he coached our division 1 side.

On behalf of the entire Sharks family, we’d like to extend our deepest condolences to his wife Allison and his children, Mara, Aaron, Evelyn, Mallory & Jonathan.

Ryan you will be sadly missed by all. Rest in Peace xxx
