Sharks feature heavily in Queens Birthday exhibition games at Whitten Oval!

St Kilda Sharks were in the thick of the action in the VWFL’s Vic Country v Metro games at Whitten Oval and in very promising signs for St Kilda it was the Sharks young guns who led the way.

In the inaugural under 21 game, Vic Metro coached by Sharks assistant coach Shannon McFerran recorded a 21 point win over Vic Country. Young Shark Steph Webb was named Metro’s best player in a dominant display for Metro giving the Metro team plenty of drive across half back and working into the midfield.

Emily Smith, Emily Paterno, Rebecca Dardengo, Rhiannon Banner, and Jasmine Garner also pulled on the boots for Metro with Dardengo and Smith both named in the best players. Jenna Bruton also featured heavily in the game and was named in Country’s best players.
